Achieving a Brighter Future
In rural Kenya, cultural traditions and economic challenges often prevent girls from attending primary and secondary school. With our support, however, the girls enrolled in our Enkisoma* Program are able to cover their school fees and other school-related expenses, allowing them to stay in school and continue their education.
We help girls stay in school by fundraising and selling products made by their mothers or local artisans in their community. Our goal is to ensure that every girl has the opportunity to complete her high school education and achieve a brighter future.
In some cases, a girl may demonstrate exceptional resilience and academic promise. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to sponsor the most deserving and motivated girls, supporting them all the way through university and helping them reach their full potential.

Building a Future That Continues
In 2026, our Enkisoma Program is taking an important step toward a sustainable, locally led future through the newly established Enkisoma Pay It Forward Initiative (EPIF), a Kenyan-led Community Based Organization.
EPIF is built around a simple but powerful idea: girls who receive an opportunity today can help create opportunities for girls tomorrow.
Former Enkisoma Program scholarship recipients are becoming mentors, contributors, community leaders, and advocates for the next generation. As they become established in their careers and communities, they can give back through financial contributions, mentorship, tutoring, community service, fundraising, and leadership.
This creates a cycle of opportunity — one in which support received by one generation can help provide an education for the next.
EPIF will increasingly lead the program from Kenya, with Seeds to Sew continuing to provide financial, technical, and organizational support during the transition. Our long-term goal is for EPIF to develop the leadership, resources, and capacity to operate increasingly independently and sustain the Enkisoma mission for generations to come.
This is more than a scholarship program. It is an investment in girls, in their communities, and in a future where the opportunity to learn can continue from one generation to the next.
